Retirement and Redundancy was set up by Jerry Sheppard and Mark Corder who have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the private, public, charitable and business sectors, as well as in recruitment. Our team also comprises of a number of highly skilled and experienced associates to ensure that all bases are covered in terms of professional support and advice that we offer to people who are due to retire or are facing the possibility of redundancy. Our friendly and approachable team will be a welcome relief to help overcome the concerns that you may have. We genuinely want to help you to make the transition from your current working life to the next phase, whatever that may be. Retirement and Redundancy Jerry Sheppard

Jerry Sheppard has worked in senior roles in the public and private sector for forty years. He retired from the Metropolitan Police in 2013 and has successfully established a unique business which supports organisations and individuals in their development, especially within the volunteering sector. Jerry is a qualified trainer and has designed and delivered numerous courses for a range of organisations within and outside the U.K. As one of the co-founders of Retirement and Redundancy,
Jerry also helps to run our workshops and aspires to help people overcome obstacles in order to achieve their goals in life.

Retirement and Redundancy Mark Corder

Mark Corder has worked in senior roles in the public and private sector for twenty years before taking voluntary redundancy, when he decided to work for himself in business. Mark is a qualified trainer and has designed and delivered numerous courses for a range of organisations; he is also an executive coach and has the knowledge and experience to help people achieve the most from their life.

As one of the co-founders of Retirement and Redundancy, Mark helps to run our workshops and is very involved in helping people like you progress to the next stage of their working life.

James Taylor has worked in financial services since 1998, and became a Partner at the prestigious wealth management company St. James’s Place in 2008. James holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and has significant experience working with individuals to build a financial plan and then regularly review this to ensure objectives continue to be met as circumstances change. This includes providing personalised advice in areas such as investments, retirement planning, tax planning and protection against risk, amongst others. James is our resident financial advisor and can assist with the financial transition from employment to the ‘next step’.
